What is this event?
The Hearthwitchery open houses are the second Saturday of each month at Cottage Corvidae. These are free gatherings for non-binary or female identified individuals to celebrate the seasons and connect to the rhythms and medicine of the island. Some gatherings may include a by-donation materials fee, no one will be turned away for financial reasons.

This month at the cottage:
Join your Vashon neighbors for tea and cookies, and learn how to calculate your tarot card of the year based on your birthday!

Have a tarot deck? Bring it along so we can see how different artists visualize the same card. Explore my deck library, and share your your own angel, oracle, or other deck styles. Open to all non-binary and female-identified Vashonites. Babes in arms are welcome but due to size constraints and construction, mobile kidlets should stay home at this time. (Thanks for understanding!)

As an intuitive reader, working primarily with the Wild Unknown deck, I understand that a personal reading is a way of peeking into your story — past, present, and potential future.

We’ll start by determining your birth card, then move on to a general forecast with a 3-card spread. From there we’ll add cards for clarification, start a new spread for a new question, or just generally work through whatever is on your mind.

Birthday and year-ahead readings start by determining your card for the year, then continue with a 12 card circular spread — one guiding card for each month of the year!

These readings naturally take about 60-90 minutes, so please plan accordingly so we have time to sink in.

Vashon Island bookings are held at Cottage Corvidae.

All readings are held in strictest confidence!

Advance payment required via Venmo or Zelle. Bookings are non-refundable, but can be reschedule if there’s an appointment available within two weeks of the original appointment.

While we can read to see what would support a health journey, Tarot should not be used to diagnosis aliments.

Don’t discount party readings as a parlor trick! A lot can be learned through these brief, fun, and insightful sessions! There are even fun, easy options for guests who have had a little too much punch!

Depending on the number of guests, a two hour booking can generally provide a shorter 3 card reading with a follow up question for up to 8-10 guests. Need more time for more guests? Additional hours can be added for $65/hr.

Cast-Your-Own Spell Jar parties are also available and send your guests home with a beautiful charm as well. Let’s chat about party size, supplies, and pricing!
