Rachelle Corvidae,
Hearthwitch.

I’ve been practicing hearthwitchery—well, truly, ever since my very first dollhouse—but with intention and focus for over twenty years. Hearthwitchery is a time-honored craft devoted to curating the energy of the places where we gather. By working with folkloric wisdom around natural elements and sacred symbols, I clear stagnant energies and infuse spaces with wonder and beauty for the benefit of all who dwell there.

I specialize in tarot, custom spellwork, and celebrations for life’s pivotal moments, blending artistry and rituals to create experiences that are both deeply enchanting and profoundly meaningful. I spend much of the year weaving spellbinding gatherings—from magical open houses and farm-to-table feasts, to intimate private ceremonies marking life’s milestones.

In 2025, I introduced the Spell Jar Bar, a bewitching highlight at weddings and special events. I also offer house cleansings and wardings for new homeowners or those seeking to reset the energy of their space after upheaval. As an intuitive tarot practitioner, my readings provide warm insight and guidance, for both individuals and groups. Every thing I offer is crafted with intention, meaning, and a touch of mystery that lingers long after the moment has passed.

Steeped in the traditions of hearth witches and herb women before me, I also draw on my academic background—a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Spiritual and Applied Theology. I’m the author of Religish: Creating Right Fit Practices in a Spiritual but Not Religious World (Chalice Press) and the founder of a recovery group for women leaving high-control religious communities

After over 30 years as a Seattle resident, I recently moved a short ferry ride away with my incorrigible dogs, Elliot and Harriet (Ellie and Harry.) Now, I’m now a full time witch-of-the-woods in my cozy Vashon Island studio. Ask anyone who’s been here — it’s truly magical. And I look forward to sharing some magic with you!
